Sara came all the way to my home a few days after I gave birth. She helped me become more comfortable with breastfeeding, the different positions and examined my newborn for a tongue tie. She helped give me stretches and exercises to address a latching issue. She always made me feel comfortable, supported and confident in this process as a first time mom. I am very appreciative of all the advice about my feeding and her ability to answer my many questions.

Sara was exceptional in helping my son gain feeding skills. She helped him learn to be comfortable with exploring new types of textures of foods that he otherwise hadn't tried or wanted. I feel confident in trying new things with him now that she also taught me strategies to help him. She was kind and patient with us and never made us feel pressured.

Sara has helped guide our family through our son's ASD diagnosis. She has been instrumental in teaching us about our son's diagnosis and providing us the tools for his specific needs. She has helped us with feeding, behavioral and physical needs. Without her, our son would not be as emotional and physically capable as he is now.

I was having issues with nipple pain during breastfeeding my newborn baby. I reached out to Sara about the issues I was having and she immediately gave me some advice and set up a time to visit. She gave tips and advice on hand placement to promote neck extension for a deeper latch, as well as stretches to help with that and my baby's tongue tie restrictions. Since implementing the techniques, the nipple pain has SIGNIFICANTLY decreased and my baby's latch has improved dramatically. I definitely recommend Growing Together Feeding Therapy for mamas struggling with breastfeeding. Sara was encouraging and very supportive. I feel confident in my plan for my continued breastfeeding journey.

Sara is absolutely wonderful!! She came right to my house and made the whole experience so comfortable. My little one was refusing anything but the breast (bottle, pacifier, fingers, teethers). She also was losing a lot of milk while nursing. Sara gave me some simple exercises to do to help her slowly strengthen and coordinate her eating that finally allowed her to take a bottle as she started daycare. Sara also followed up multiple times to make sure we were still having success. I was so thankful to have her as a resource during that stressful time!
